This article is from the workout program I use Warrior Made, coach Tyler shows you 5 fantastic stenches. You may need to modify these stretches to protect your joints. Use your own best wisdom whenever trying something new, take it easy! Click below to watch full stretches video
Please note bending at the waist and hanging down so your arms reach towards the floor that he shows you first, may not be the best stretch for you if you have chronic low back pain. If that's you, try this stretch instead; bend at the waist to no more than a 90 degree angle by holding on to a desk/chair or counter, hold for 15 to 60 seconds. That way you get good stretch while protecting your lower back. PS Soon I will write an article about the importance of many types of exercise, including stretches. If you have any questions about what's best for you use this 15 minute link to schedule a consultation with me. As always... here's to your best health! Dr. Linda
FUN FACT The more muscle mass you have, the more fat you burn while resting.
