Caffeine
Following are Quick Tips to consider re: caffeine and an updated Schedule of Classes.
If you're not feeling your best, you may want to reassess the quantity of caffeine you're consuming. - Caffeine is a stimulant.
- 2-3 cups of coffee/day can raise blood pressure 3-14 mm Hg.
- Caffeine can increase the speed of your breathing.
- Caffeine is a diuretic. The more one drinks, the more one urinates.
- Caffeine is a drug that can be addictive.
- Nearly 3 cups of coffee daily can lead to spinal bone loss.
- Caffeine makes it difficult to absorb calcium and increases its loss.
- Too much caffeine at one time can make you nervous, jumpy and forgetful.
- Your hands may shake.
- Too much caffeine will make it hard to sleep.
